Sustaining the New Common Charter: Examples, Issues and Opportunities

Events

Organiser: The Centre for Cross Border Cooperation

Date: November 3, 2026

Location: Seanad Chamber, Leinster House, Dublin

Times: 9.30am - 12.30pm

The Centre for Cross Border Cooperation is pleased to invite you to the final event of the ‘Sustaining the New Common Charter’ project, funded through the Shared Island Civic Society Fund.

This event will bring together civic society organisations, community leaders, academics, policymakers and those with an interest in cross-border cooperation to explore how collaboration across the island of Ireland can help address shared environmental, cultural and social challenges.

Over the course of the project, civic groups from across the island have come together to identify common challenges, share experiences, and develop stronger cross-border relationships.

This final event will provide an opportunity to reflect on those discussions, celebrate achievements, and consider future opportunities for cooperation.
