Dr Ciara Brennan is a Lecturer at Newcastle University where she has taught Environmental Law at undergraduate and postgraduate levels since 2012. She attended Queens University Belfast, and holds an LLB, an MSc (with distinction) in Leadership for Sustainable Development and a PhD. Ciara is the Director of EJNI and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. In July 2020, Ciara was appointed to the Francis Taylor Buildings Academic Panel and she is embarking on a Knowledge Exchange and Innovation Sabbatical hosted by Friends of the Earth NI from September 2020.
