Feminist Communities for Climate Justice invites you to our final webinar focusing on empowering communities to take climate justice action
Organising and leading a climate action project can be daunting. The Feminist Communities for Climate Justice (FCCJ) project has developed two toolkits that can be used to build understanding of climate change, and to mobilise communities into action.
The climate crisis is an everything crisis, touching every aspect of our lives – our homes, our food, how we travel, our health, and how we care for each other. However, taking action at a community level can seem daunting.
The majority of Irish people are concerned about climate change – but many of us don’t know what exactly we can do about it. Tying the climate crisis to issues of social justice, FCCJ wants to build knowledge and confidence in individuals, facilitators and communities all over Ireland in understanding and responding to climate change using the lens of climate justice.
Join us for a webinar discussing the project’s two toolkits, designed to equip all kinds of facilitators and conversation starters to change the way climate change is talked about in our communities and help them respond to the impacts of the climate crisis in their communities.
This event will have Irish Sign Language interpretation and will be recorded.
