Have you been thinking a lot about the climate crisis lately? Would you like to learn more but not sure where to begin? We’ve got you covered! Join us in Concern Worldwide for our intergenerational climate café. A morning of tea, pastries and climate chat that will leave you feeling inspired and ready to take action. This is an amazing opportunity to discuss one of the biggest challenges of our time with people from all backgrounds and generations. You’ll have the chance to hear many different perspectives on a range of climate related topics including climate justice, eco-anxiety, climate action, and biodiversity to name a few. Whether you’re a climate scientist or just learning about climate change, this is an event for you!
Don’t have anyone to attend with? Do not worry! Our amazing facilitators will help to guide the conversations and our hosts will make sure everyone gets a chance to mix and discuss all the topics. You will walk away with a whole new group of climate friends.
We will also have an opening address from Saoirse Exton, a climate activist and member of the UN Secretary General’s Youth Advisory Group on Climate Change and will be joined on the day by representatives from a number of organisations. After the café we will walk to Kildare Street to meet the intergenerational climate group Friends of Fridays For Future for anyone who wishes to join.
Registration for the event is essential and is open to those over 18 only.
Please have a copy of your registration with you.
