Students in the Department of Theatre at UCC are hosting a Climate Change Theatre Action 2023 (CCTA) event. CCTA is a worldwide festival of five-minute plays about the climate crisis presented biennially to coincide with the United Nations COP meetings.
“We will listen” presents staged readings of several plays on November 2nd. The performances are a collaboration between departments of Theatre at UCC led by MA Theatre & Performative Practices students. Undergraduate Theatre students are involved as performers in this series of lively readings. – combining humor, poetic verse, and song, utilizing performance to bring communities together to act on climate change.
Members of UCC Youth Theatre will also be presenting a short play. A short talkback will follow the hour-long production with tea and coffee in the lobby. Admission is free. Please find the program below.
