Access to Justice Observatory: Accessing Justice at EU and National Level EJNI’s Access to Justice Observatory project has the object of screening legislative developments at EU and national level for compliance with the access to justice requirements of the Aarhus Convention.

Linking the Irish Environment: The aim of the ‘Linking the Irish Environment’ project is to examine how to enable the environment sector across the island of Ireland to cooperate and engage on an all-island and cross-border basis to deal with shared environmental challenges, risks, and opportunities.

KRW Law

KRW Law has considerable experience in public law litigation, with the breadth of our judicial review practice spanning fields as diverse as human rights, healthcare, education, housing and planning and environmental issues. In environmental matters, KRW have acted in cases involving protected species and habitats, monitoring of environmental health, statutory nuisances, defending injunctions taken out against environmental activists and advised on enforcement proceedings for breach of environmental legislation.

We have also advised climate activists on the law surrounding protests and online activity, participating in seminars with Friends of the Earth (NI) and Queen’s University Belfast Student Union to better prepare individuals to safeguard their rights and ensure that civil society can more effectively voice rising concerns about the climate crisis.

We act in privately funded and legally aided cases. We also have a 24 hour on-call service for anyone facing arrest ( (028) 90 241888) and have been recommended to groups such as Greenpeace. We hope to advise and assist individuals and groups in achieving environmental justice.
