EJNI submission to the targeted public consultation – draft guidance on the application of the ‘do no significant harm’ principle under the 2028-2034 Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF)

Prepared by Environmental Justice Network Ireland (EJNI) for submission via https://ec.europa.eu/eusurvey/runner/DNSH-Guidance-Next-MFF

This document sets out EJNI’s submission to the consultation, organised in the same order as the survey questions, including EJNI’s response to each multiple-choice question. The submission is informed by the analysis and positions of the European Environmental Bureau (EEB), CAN-Europe, CEE Bankwatch Network and WWF Europe, whose recommendations are credited throughout, alongside considerations specific to EJNI’s work, Ireland and the island’s all-island context.

Date of submission: 16th September 2026.
