Benefits of climate laws

This report considers the design and impact of national framework climate laws and their associated institutional and participative governance arrangements. Drawing on the views of expert academics, lawyers and ENGO analysts, we have identified key themes in the literature around climate laws. Our supplementary resources outline the key findings of the report and, using Ireland as a case study, we have explored how a national framework climate law is working in practice.
