ONLINE TALK:
“A Crisis of Communication:
What Media Gets Wrong About the Climate Crisis, and How to Set it Right”
Green Foundation Ireland invites you to join us for the above evening online talk from 19:00 to 20:00 (Irish time) on Wednesday evening 12 February 2025.
As always at our events, an important part will be the Q&A session which will allow full participation by those attending.
THEME
Our talk will include an overview of the economic, political, and ideological barriers facing clear and effective communication about the climate crisis, their implications for responding to it, and what a more healthy, democratic media landscape might look like.
OUR GUEST SPEAKER
Fionn Bowes-Fitzpatrick
Fionn is a long-time environmental advocate, emerging documentarian and storyteller.
Since earning an honours degree in Film and Broadcasting at TU Dublin in 2022, his main area of research has been climate communication through media, and how the stories we tell might help save our planet and ourselves.
