Only one month to go till No Gas Caverns and Friends of the Earth are in High Court. The case we are bringing is against the Department for Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs over its decision to allow the creation of a major fossil fuel storage facility. This project is proposed for a protected marine area which will create a ‘dead zone’ where no marine life could survive.
Please put on your boots, make a placard and join us on the beach at 2pm on Sunday 2 April to show your solidarity to the local communities, to demand protection for our coastal waters and to remind the government we are in a climate crisis and there is no place for this fossil fuel infrastructure.
Photos, speeches, solidarity action, please use the #ISUPPORTNOGASCAVERNS
