Climate Kitchen Kirkcudbright

The Climate Kitchen is a space where folk can gather to share food, talk about climate-related topics and inspire action on an individual and community level.

While acknowledging that climate change is a global crisis, it feels important to focus on how local challenges feed into this bigger picture and how we can make a tangible impact in our lives and community.

We may invite inspirational speakers, organisations making a difference, present thought provoking films or host eco making sessions

A wee upcycled craft activity too.

We’re excited to continue building this community of action and look forward to seeing even more faces at the next one. Together, we can make a real difference locally
We need help. We’re looking to form a core group to drive these sessions, and would love your input however small or big. This is important work, so please make yourself known and join us and lets make a lasting impact

We aim for you to come away from the Kitchen with a better idea of how and where you can make an impact locally

Charitable donations are welcomed on the day and help us pay the rent.

There will be free vegan soup and bread and refreshments offered by Margie of Free Food Fridays – diverting surplus food from landfill

Booking though not essential, does help Margie with catering. Thank you

We’re brand new and are looking for volunteers. If you’re moved to climate action and would like to help, please get in touch. info@ecoartcharity.org
