You are invited to a lively discussion on the European Law Institute’s work on Ecocide.

This event aims to inform participants of the work of the Institute on Ecocide and to promote a debate as to its significance and direction. After the contributions of our speakers, there will be a round-table discussion.

Speakers include:

– William McKechnie (retired judge of the Supreme Court).

– Robert Bray (Lawyer, one of two reporters on the Ecocide project of ELI).

– Dr Elaine Groff (Ecologist, environmental planning and policy analyst, currently the Natural Environment Officer of An Taisce.)

– Duncan Stewart ( leading Irish advocate for environmental, health and conservation issues for over 40 years).
