Already 28% of the Republic and 25% of the North have been given out in prospecting licences. If planning permission for mining is granted, our water, our air, our land and ultimately our health will all be adversely affected.

The communities of the Sperrins invite you to join them on the 21st of August in Dublin as they march from the GPO to the Dail with the message: ‘Ireland is not for sale’.

As they journey from the GPO in Greencastle to the GPO in Dublin they invite all other communities on the island who are involved in their own environmental and social justice campaign to show up and add their voice.

This will be a colourful, fun, family friendly event, so please feel free to bring brightly coloured banners, posters & musical instruments and be part of protecting our children’s heritage on this island.
