MainstreamBio Webinar: Youth in the Bioeconomy – Impact and Importance of Involving the Next Generation in the Bioeconomy Sector

Join us for an insightful webinar focusing on the essential role of young people in driving innovation and sustainability within sectors such as agriculture, energy, biotechnology, and environmental stewardship. We will explore how empowering the next generation can shape the future of sustainable practices and innovation.

As part of the Horizon EU project MainstreamBIO, which aims to enhance bioeconomy knowledge in rural areas across Europe and support rural actors in implementing innovative projects, we are organizing a 4-part webinar series from mid-January to early February. These sessions will cover diverse bioeconomy topics, including bio-based technologies, innovative business models, and their social impacts, particularly those driven by women. Additionally, we will explore the importance of involving youth, understanding consumer needs and affordability of bio-based products, and raising awareness among consumers.
