Connecting Heritage, Community, and Climate Action
This event welcomes everyone with an interest in the care, use, or heritage of church buildings.
Join us for a practical and inspiring event exploring how caring for your church building can support long-term sustainability: environmentally, financially, and socially.
We’ll discuss how engaging with your building’s heritage and the wider community can open up funding opportunities, reduce running costs, and even generate additional income for your church. From simple maintenance to creative community use, small steps can make a big difference.
You’ll also hear from experts in heritage and conservation and connect with others passionate about keeping churches open, loved, and in active use.
With contributions from: Historic Environment Division, Ulster Architectural Heritage, HERoNI Archives, Architectural Heritage Fund, National Lottery Heritage Fund, NICVA, Rural Community Network, Institute of Historic Building Conservation NI (IHBC NI) and the National Churches Trust.
The day is free of charge.
You’ll also find out what support is available through the National Churches Trust.
