Rewild & Renew: How can Ireland turn the tide on climate change and biodiversity loss?
The DCU Centre for Climate and Society is a research centre focused on societal responses to the climate crisis.
Our annual one-day conference will feature a range of speakers from business, the media, policy-making, and academia.
We are delighted that the keynote speakers will be Eamon Ryan T.D., Minister for Environment, Climate and Communications, and Minister for Transport, and Eoghan Daltun, rewilder, farmer, and author of An Irish Atlantic Rainforest: A Personal Journey into the Magic of Rewilding.
The three conference panels will address:
Covering climate and biodiversity: challenges and opportunities
Policy-making in the dual climate and biodiversity crises
Corporate responses to climate change and biodiversity regulation
You can see the full programme here.
The event is free and open to the public, but registration is required. We look forward to welcoming you to DCU St Patrick’s Campus on 26 April 2023.
Location: DCU St Patrick’s Campus Drumcondra Road Upper Dublin 9 Ireland
